About this Course

This program can also be an introductory swimming course for children 22 months to 3 years of age. Children will develop confidence, independence and comfort in the water. With completion of this level, they will be able to perform jump entries and assisted front and back floats. They will also learn how to recover objects from the bottom of the pool, kick with assistance on their front and back, and be ready to take swimming lessons on their own. One guardian per child is required to participate in water for the duration of the class. This is an aged, based program by the start of the session, register in Preschool 1 when the child is of the correct age.
