About this Course

Step out of the house this Winter Break and explore the creative side of King Township: at the KHCC Museum! Participate in one of our kid-and-family-friendly programs: -Dec 27: Intro to Cross-Stitch -Dec 28: DIY Plushie Workshop -Dec 31: Victorian Magic About Victorian Magic: Step back in time to explore the origins of magic and illusions as we know today. Learn about optical tricks, mysticism, and technological inventions that are simply magical; and, design your own optical toy or magic card in a Victorian-themed craft. Tour our historic buildings including our 1861 school house and 1859 Laskay Hall to learn more about life through the ages in King! Drop-In Between 10AM - 4PM. Program runs approx. 1-2 hours.
